Resource Room - Mrs. Cloy

Welcome to old and new students. My name is Ms. Cloy and I am the resource room teacher at Shabazz Public School Academy. My job is to help your child be successful in school. New this year, my aide, Mr. Riley and I will be working with your child in his/her classroom on their assignments. Also our classroom is now located outside in the second portable (trailer) near the playground. We are looking for a parent to volunteer to represent our school on the special education parent advisory board for the Ingham County Intermediate School District (ISD). This board will meet about once a month to discuss special education issues. This would be a great opportunity for you to learn more about the educational opportunities available and interact with other parents. The ISD is sponsoring a parent IEP training workshop on November 22, 2008 from 9-2 in Mason. This workshop is open to anyone who wants to be more knowledgeable about the IEP process.
