March Newsletter

Dear Parents,

It is hard to believe that it is already March. It won’t be long before the school year is over.  This month has quite a few important dates. March is reading month. March 8th is a half day of school due to Professional Development. March 24 is parent teacher conferences. Due to the number of snow days we’ve experienced, school will be a full day instead of ½ day as previously scheduled and conferences will be held from 4:00 – 6:30PM.  I look forward to seeing the parents of those students that receive additional help in math. Harambee is scheduled for March 25, 2011. The beginning of the last marking period is March 28, 2011.

The Math/Science committee has scheduled the Science Fair for April 29, 2011. Projects will be completed and judged by April 27th. The best projects will be displayed for April Harambee. Since Spring break is April 4th – 8th, it is important that you begin your projects this month. Look for additional information to come home with your student the week of March 7th,

Sincerely,

Darnay Collier
