FrenchShabazz Place Holder

At Shabazz Academy, we understand that our students face with serious challenges due to the globalization of the world market. To better compete with the rest of world, our kids are to be equipped with the necessary tools, such as the ability to speak at least one foreign language and a better and broader understanding of the culture of others. We understand that with the advent of the global marketplace, having a second or even third language on a résumé is almost a requirement of the job-seeking professional. Businesses recognize that a person with the ability to speak a second language fluently is a valuable asset. It also shows off the capacity of the aspiring job candidate to learn and assimilate complex systems of information, a talent that is sure to catch the attention of any human resources department.

Bonjour, I am Mr. Diouf and I am proud to be your child's French instructor. This is my third year teaching French to our K-6 at Shabazz Academy. I am very passionate about my job and our kids' future and success.

"PRACTICE MAKES PERFECT" is especially true when it comes to learning a second language. Thus, I am urging all parents to devote time to their kids' education and to make sure they practice their French anywhere possible.

Thank you,

Mr. Diouf
