April Newsletter
Ms. Bullock's 2nd Grade
- The school year is beginning to wind down. Please make sure that you are staying on top of your children to make sure that they continue to read, write, practice math, do their homework, and study their spelling words at home. I am also encouraging you to make sure that you have your children write at home as much as possible. In math, we are beginning to work on fractions, time, and money. If you need any ideas for helping your child at home with these concepts, please let me know.
- The Science Fair will be on Friday, April 23rd. This day is also Harambee. Our class will be working on our Science Fair project after Spring Break. We will be presenting one class project and welcome all parents to come see our work.
- The last parent/teacher conferences will be Thursday, April 29th. I will send the sign-up sheet home the week before. It is very important that all parents sign up to attend this conference because it will be the time for us to talk about your child's overall progress in the second grade and to plan for the next school year.
As always, thank you all for your continued support. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to contact me
